Game Mechanics and Score Calculation
Shuffle Types uses eight fair binary symbols (0 or 1). These are split into two four-symbol words. The game counts distinct eight-symbol outputs obtainable by interleaving while preserving the order within each half. All eight symbols are independent fair binary values.
One whole captured stake covers the complete draw. The score function is defined as:
- Gross = 0.96 × captured whole stake × raw^power / the exact mean for that power (1, 2 or 3)
There are three separately normalized score powers (modes), each normalized over all 256 equally likely words to a 96% expected gross return. The separate exact means are:
| Mode Power | Exact Mean |
|---|---|
| 1 | 17.1875 |
| 2 | 388.0625 |
| 3 | 11400.3125 |
The raw score is always 1 to 70. Higher powers change the return distribution after normalization; positive gross return can still be below the stake. Expected gross return is 96%; this is not guaranteed net profit. Simulation measurements are supporting sample observations, not the mathematical payout law.
Modes and Payout Structure
The game offers three distinct modes based on the selected power. Each mode is independently normalized.
- Score (Power 1): Normalized mean is 17.1875.
- Score Squared (Power 2): Normalized mean is 388.0625.
- Score Cubed (Power 3): Normalized mean is 11400.3125.
There are no zero raw scores in this game; a positive return can still be below the stake. The gross payout includes the stake as per the formula. Fractional carry is preserved across settlement, refill, and reload in this demo.
Controls and Auto/Stop Rules
The following controls apply to the demo:
- Stake: One whole captured stake; no independent row shares.
- Auto10: Queues at most ten captured draws.
- Stop: Cancels future draws while the current one settles. No early bank.
- Settlement: about 480 ms animation in normal motion; reduced motion may finish immediately.
Stake, mode, and refill are locked through active settlement and any auto queue. Sound remains available during this time. Settings and refill are locked until settlement and the queue finish.
Wallet Behavior and Balance Restoration
The demo wallet has specific rules for balance management:
- Initial Balance: 1000 virtual coins.
- Manual Restoration: Available when idle and balance is below 10. This action SETS the balance to exactly 1000.
- Fractional Carry: Persists across settlement, refill, and reload.
- Settled Balance: Persists locally, including zero.
- Unfinished Reload: Ends an unfinished draw without refund or resume.
These local counters do not imply automatic replenishment or account recovery; restoration is manual and idle-only.
Privacy and Storage
Source uses browser localStorage for settled demo balance and fractional carry. This does not establish anonymity or exclude other processing. The absence of account or payment controls in the demo does not prove that no personal data are processed.
The source declares Google Fonts, and the production builder includes the Statinside44 visitor counter. Current browser capture is required to identify actual requests; this does not establish anonymity, retention or absence of other processing. Clearing cached files may leave local storage where that storage is actually used.
Responsible Use and Audience
The intended audience for this guide is 18+. This is a policy statement, not a universal legal age, an implemented age gate, or a statement of local legality. Responsible-use pages can describe optional pauses, a personal time/virtual-coin limit, and finding appropriate local qualified help. The demo does not clinically train behavior or make losses safe.
Frequently asked questions
How is the score calculated in Shuffle Types?
The gross payout is calculated as: 0.96 × captured whole stake × raw^power / the exact mean for that power (1, 2 or 3). The raw score is based on the distinct eight-symbol outputs from interleaving two four-symbol words. The raw score is always 1 to 70, and each power uses its own normalization mean.
What are the exact means for each mode?
The separate exact means are: Mode 1 (Score) = 17.1875; Mode 2 (Score Squared) = 388.0625; Mode 3 (Score Cubed) = 11400.3125.
Does a higher power mode change winning conditions?
The selected power changes the normalized payout distribution. Raw scores are always positive, but whether gross return exceeds the stake can differ between modes.
What happens if I reload the page during a draw?
Reload ends an unfinished draw without refund or resume. The saved balance already includes the deducted stake, and the existing fractional carry persists.
How do I restore my balance?
You can manually restore the balance when idle and the balance is below 10. This action sets the balance to exactly 1000 and preserves fractional carry.
Is the 96% RTP guaranteed?
No. The expected gross return is 96%, but this is not a guaranteed net profit for any session. Simulation measurements (e.g., 95.88% for Mode 1) are supporting observations, not the exact law.
What does Auto10 do?
Auto10 queues at most ten captured draws. You can use Stop to cancel future draws while the current one settles.
Are controls locked during a draw?
Yes. Stake, mode, and refill are locked through active settlement and any auto queue. Sound remains available.
Does the demo use an account login?
No. The demo has no account-login flow. It uses local storage for balance and fractional carry.
Is the virtual coin value real money?
No. Virtual coins in this demo have no cash value. They are for demonstration purposes only.
What data is stored locally?
Browser localStorage is used for settled demo balance and fractional carry. This does not establish anonymity or exclude other processing.
Is this a licensed casino?
No. This is an independent guide's demo. It does not certify or reproduce any outside product, nor does it imply a licensed operator exists.
